Local-first
Your software should work when the network doesn't, and keep working when a company decides to move on.
Synovis
Personal software for the parts of life that don't fit in someone else's app.
Synovis is a small studio building tools for knowledge management, productivity, and the everyday work of running a life. Local-first, quietly designed, made to be lived in — not marketed at.
Principles
You own your data
Notes, tasks, and references live in plain, open formats. Nothing is trapped behind an export button.
Small, sharp scope
Every tool does a specific job well. No feature accretion, no attention economy, no dark patterns.
